    Hello Palenkeros !
    Good news in September for Palenke Soultribe, thanks to you guys for your continuous support.
    In the past few days Palenke Soultribe has been honored to be the official music selection for the commemorative video of the tribute for Machu Picchu,. This historical treasure of humanity is currently celebrating 100 years since its discovery. Check the video here.
    Also, along the release of Sr.Mendez’s álbum, we have partnered to release the video of our song “Choroni”. The video was directed and edited by Otto Scheuren and was created in stop-motion. It’s very fun and creative. Watch it and tell us what you think!
    Last but not least, Palenke Soultribe just performed as DJs this past September 11, 2011, along with one of the most successful Mexican bands of the last decade, Zoe. See a fan video from that special DJ SET.
    We will be celebrating Mexican Independence this Friday Sept 16 in downtown LA. Don’t miss this Special Live Set. Info here
    Our album, “Palenke vs. Palenque” is ready now. It’s currently being pressed and we’re finishing up the details of the release. In the meantime, you can hear “El Macaco”, included in this NPR article on Southern California music.
